Steel Grating Clips
Our grating clips are designed to securely fix steel grating panels in various industrial and drainage applications. These high-strength grating fasteners and grating clamps ensure stability, safety, and easy installation. Available in galvanized finishes, our metal grating clips are ideal for long-term outdoor use.
Bar grating accessories, including stair treads, nosing, and clamps, further enhance the functionality and safety of grating systems. For instance, saddle clip grating utilizes specially designed clips to hold bar gratings in place, reducing installation time while maintaining reliability. Our factory produces three types of steel grating clamps for fixing steel gratings: Type A, Type B and Type C. As shown in the picture on the right.

Steel Grating Clamp Specifications
Steel grating clamps are essential components in securing grating panels to their supporting structures, providing stability and safety for a wide range of industrial and construction applications. When selecting the right steel grating clamp, it’s important to consider various specifications to ensure optimal performance, durability, and safety.
Key Specifications
1.Material
Steel grating clamps are typically made from carbon steel, stainless steel, or galvanized steel.
- Carbon steelis suitable for general applications, offering strength and affordability.
- Stainless steelis ideal for harsh or corrosive environments, such as chemical plants or outdoor applications, due to its superior corrosion resistance.
- Galvanized steelprovides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, making it a popular choice for long-term outdoor use.
2.Size
The clamp size must match the grating bar width and height. Standard clamps are designed to fit common grating sizes, but custom sizes are available for non-standard grating or special applications. Proper sizing ensures a secure and stable attachment, preventing movement or dislodgement of the grating.
3.Load Capacity
Grating clamps are designed to withstand both static and dynamic loads, including vibration and impact. It’s essential to select clamps with an appropriate load rating to ensure the stability of the grating in heavy-duty environments.
4.Bolt Size and Type
Steel grating clamps usually use M8, M10, or M12 bolts for securing the clamp to the grating. The choice of bolt size depends on the required strength and load capacity of the system.
5.Spacing Between Clamps
Proper spacing between clamps ensures even load distribution and prevents deformation or movement of the grating. Typically, the recommended spacing is between 600mm to 800mm, depending on the size and type of grating used.
6.Design Types
·A-type grille clamp: This clamp is widely used to fix bar grille panels and is designed to tightly fix the edges of grille bars to ensure a secure fixation.
- G-type grille clamp: Known for its ease of use and strong fixing ability, G-type grille clamp is often used to fix grille panels to support beams.
- B-type grille clamp and C-type grille clamp are both evolved from A-type grille clamps, with the purpose of adapting to various complex installation environments to meet the needs of different scenarios.
Why Choose the Right Specifications?
Selecting the correct steel grating clamp specifications is vital for achieving a secure, long-lasting, and efficient grating system. Properly selected clamps not only enhance safety by preventing displacement but also reduce maintenance costs over time. Whether you are dealing with heavy industrial applications or light commercial use, the right clamp ensures that your grating panels stay securely in place under varying conditions.
